Music Taste.

I went to the One Direction show in Toronto on Sunday, and, of course, wore the 1D shirt I bought at school the next day. I got a mix of reactions, from “OMG I H8 U! I’M SO JEALOUS!” or “OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU’RE WEARING A ONE DIRECTION SHIRT, THEY SUCK!”.

It was, however, the second range of comments that actually quite irked me. There is a variety of different types of music out there, and not everyone is going to agree on what they value as “good” music. Although, if you don’t particularily care for a certain genre or certain artist, good on ya. Just don’t go around and put others down for what they like. As my Gran-Mama once said, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all”. Good music is good music. Although it’s not to you, doesn’t mean it’s not for someone else.
